Passengers fall sick after eating rotten food on Karachi-bound train

Several passengers became unconscious after eating rotten and unhygienic food, which was served to them in the Green Line Express train travelling to Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources said that the Green Line Express was going from Islamabad to Karachi.

During the journey, the passengers were served with expired and unhygienic food, after which their health condition deteriorated.

All passengers staged a protest demonstration against the Pakistan Railways administration at Khanewal Railway Station. 

Later, several passengers complained of pain in their stomachs and vomiting. The Railway Police were called in to bring the situation under control.

Before this, many incidents occurred in which passengers fell sick after eating food in the Green Line Express.
