Dengue, malaria cases on the rise in Karachi once again

Dengue and malaria cases are on the rise in Karachi once again, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

According to the Health Department, 2,928 cases of malaria and 555 cases of dengue fever were reported in the port city in the current year.

The highest number of malaria cases was reported in Malir District. The number of malaria cases reported in Malir this year so far is 818. The number of malaria cases reported in Korangi is 521 and the number of malaria cases reported in South is 498.

The number of dengue cases reported in the city this year is 555. At least 134 dengue cases were reported in East District and 115 in the Central District. At least 97 dengue cases were reported in South District.
