Authorities have turned a blind eye to the miseries of the family of the martyr, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

Salim Saif sacrificed his life while doing his duty in Lahore Police.

Despite assurances from the police department, the son of the martyr has not been provided with a job. 

Khurshid Sultana, the widow of the martyr, said she has been supporting her children alone for 27 years and now she is worried about her family’s future after her retirement. 

The woman said with hard work, her son acquired an education but failed to find a job.

She felt strong concerns for her son’s future questioning where will she live after her retirement as a teacher and how could she make both ends meet.

The son of Saleem Saif said he has been hunting for a job despite having a higher education.

However, the family of the fallen hero expressed hope that the Chief Minister and the police big guns will look at the matter and help them fix their woes.
