Petrol, diesel prices raised again
The federal government has increased petrol and high-speed diesel prices, with the revised rates taking effect from Sept. 12 to Sept. 14, 2026.
According to a Ministry of Energy press release, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority raised the ex-depot price of high-speed diesel by Rs5.28 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel increased from Rs398.04 to Rs403.32 per litre.
OGRA also raised the price of petrol, or Motor Spirit, by Rs5.02 per litre, from Rs370.80 to Rs375.82 per litre.
The ministry said global developments, including changes in Platts rates, premiums and other incidental costs, necessitated the price revision.
The new petroleum prices will remain effective from Sept. 12 to Sept. 14.
