Most wanted TTP terrorist arrested in Karachi

A most wanted terrorist, Noor Alam, alias Wafadar, belonging to Fitna-al-Khawarij, has been arrested in Karachi during a joint operation of Rangers and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the spokesperson of Rangers, arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the terrorist's possession.
The arrested terrorist had joined the Mufti Noor Wali group in 2014.
The terrorist was involved in attacks on security forces in South Waziristan.
It was revealed that he was involved in the attack on the Levies checkpost in Makin in 2021.
Two of the terrorist's associates were killed in the attack, while 6 personnel were kidnapped during the attack.
The terrorist was also involved in planting IEDs and explosions.
He fled to Afghanistan after the operation and later remained associated with the terrorist network.
He was involved in terrorist activities on the instructions of Commander Bilal alias Toofan.
The terrorist was hiding in Karachi and organising the network while raids were underway to arrest his associates.
The arrested terrorist has been handed over to CTD, and further investigation is underway.
