Dollar down 19 paisas in inter-bank exchange rate
The US dollar was down by 19 paisas in inter-bank exchange rate as it closed the session at Rs168.07, representing the second-consecutive day of losses, although small, against the local currency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Similarly, the open market saw the dollar shedding 20 paisas and closing at Rs168.50 after it had reached the historic high of Rs169 on Monday. In inter-bank trading, it was available for Rs168.38.
It means the world top currency is down by 31 paisas in inter-bank rate and 50 paisas in open market during the last two days.
