Pakistan reports 730 coronavirus cases, 17 deaths

Pakistan recorded another 730 coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours (Tuesday), raising the overall number to 285,920, while the same period saw 17 more deaths which means the toll has now increased to 6,129.
The official stats show that the number of coronavirus cases in Sindh currently stands at 124,556, making it the worst-affected province.
Meanwhile, the figures for other provinces/regions are: Punjab 94,715, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 34,859, Islamabad 15,296, Balochistan 11,956, Gilgit-Baltistan 2,382 and Azad Kashmir 2,157.
On the other hand, a total of 2,186,442 tests have so far been conducted in the country since the coronavirus pandemic outbreak, as another 20,631 people were tested for the virus during the past 24 hours.
The figures also show that 263,193 people have fully recovered from the infection while 785 patients are still in critical condition.
Furthermore, 2,290 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,177 in Punjab, 1,235 in KP, 138 in Balochistan, 172 in Islamabad, 58 in GB and 59 in Azad Kashmir.
