Apple has been a pioneer in the smartphone industry and has since the very beginning been an ace. Apple is about to release its best product yet and we all are very impatiently waiting. The release date is rumoured to be in September this year and so far no updates have been released by Apple.
The only source for our knowledge about Apple’s new breakthrough devices are rumours which have been out even before the predecessor iPhone 13 even came out
Reportedly, there are major updates and upgrades in the new iPhone 14 and they are expected to be much better than the older iPhone and also the competitors.
According to the rumours, Apple will be eliminating the ‘mini’ variant, the one with the smaller size and comparatively lesser features as it was unpopular amongst the consumers and also sold fewer units. Now, Apple has reportedly decided to move forward with focus on larger sizes for their flagships and deliver us with a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the pro series and a beefy 6.7 inches screen in their max and pro-max variants. As far as the notch is concerned, it will be eliminated in the upcoming iPhone and the new design will have a small punch hole for the camera and a pill shaped small hole for the necessary Face ID components. This is reported to be a feature in the pro and upper variants whereas the standard will be seen with the same notch. Apple might also be using a new vapour chamber thermal system that will keep the phone cooler to minimize and radiate the heat and impact of faster chips and 5G connectivity.
The iPhones always include camera improvements in the newer models, and the iPhone 14 will also have. There will be improvements and tweaks to the Ultra-Wide camera, and there's a possibility that Apple will introduce a "periscope" zoom lens that allows for much greater optical zoom. The Pro iPhone models are expected to get 48-megapixel cameras and 8K video recording capabilities, but these features might not be available on the standard iPhone 14 models sadly.
Rumours say that the iPhone 14 models are most likely to continue using the same A15 chip that was introduced in the iPhone 13 series, while the iPhone 14 Pro models might come with an updated A16 chip. This would mark the first time that the Pro iPhone models get a faster chip with Apple trying to cut down the cost and in the situation of unavailability of supplies.
For the 5G connectivity, Apple is expected to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon X65 chip, which is the first 10-gigabit 5G modem with faster connectivity speeds and connectivity improvements. Alongside the X65, Apple is expected to introduce new satellite-based emergency features that will let users send texts in emergency situations and report accidents with no cellular coverage.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro could come in purple, according to a rumour. Though unconfirmed the rumour suggests that both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models will be available in a purple shade that has a unique multi-colour profile in lighting situations.
The new iPhone is also expected to have a titanium alloy chassis design as it is more scratch resistant and stronger than both aluminium and steel and also more corrosion resistant.
It is also reported that Apple, they are thinking to remove the lightning port as well and totally depends on the MagSafe which is their own magnetic wireless charger.
