Another party hits ECP to get 'Bat' as party symbol after PTI fails to hold intra-party elections

The Hum Awam Pakistan Party (HAPP), in its pursuit of obtaining the electoral symbol 'bat' once again, has entered the political arena. The registered political party has submitted an application to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the acquisition of the electoral symbol, 24News HD TV channel reported on Monday.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) intra-party election efforts have proven unsuccessful, as stated in the application. "The electoral symbol 'bat' is currently vacant, neither allocated to any party nor requested by any party," the application reads.
"All registered parties have been assigned electoral symbols, but our party has yet to receive any allocation," claims the party in the application.
The request urges the ECP to allocate the electoral symbol 'bat' to the Hum Awam Pakistan Party, appealing for prompt consideration.
The application has been submitted by Chairman Muhammad Amjad Chaudhry on behalf of the party.image
