Two suspects killed in encounter with CCD in Lahore

Two arrested suspects were killed in an alleged Crime Control Department (CCD) police encounter in Barki area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to police, the deceased suspects were identified as Ahmed and Nadeem. 

Both suspects were taken to Barki for recovery where their accomplices opened fire to free the arrested suspects and as a result of crossfire, both were killed.

The police shifted the bodies to the morgue after necessary legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, a drug dealer was injured in encounter with Razaabad police station in Faisalabad.

The accused Ghulam Murtaza was arrested in the rape case and during investigations he also revealed the purchase and sale of drugs.

The police were taking the accused Ghulam Murtaza to recover ice where his accomplices attacked the police near Kokianwala and accused Ghulam Murtaza received bullet injuries in the firing of the attackers who fled after firing. 

The injured accused was shifted to the hospital and the search for the attackers is on.
