Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif slammed the government for adding to public woes, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

“The PTI is specialized in taking U-turns,” he said while addressing a National Assembly session. He blamed the Murree tragedy on the government and said it has nothing to do with public service.

Last month witnessed the biggest trade deficit while circular debt has been on the rise, the PML-N president said, adding that the government has taxed even essential foodstuff and power tariff continue surging.

He questioned the capability of the PTI to governor and alleged the control of the country's economy has been handed over to IMF and it brought in mini-budget to meet the IMF needs, rubbing salt into public wounds.
