Changes in federal cabinet likely after Eid 

Prime Minister Imran Khan has been mulling over the changes in the federal cabinet, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday. 

They said the government coalition partners, including PML-Q and MQM, will be given ministries as promised by the PTI leadership while some of the sitting ministers might be ousted. 

The insiders added Moonis Elahi of PML-Q is likely to be given a ministry while the return of former PM aide Zulfi Bokhari to the federal cabinet is also expected after Eidul Azha.

Former special assistant to the prime minister on overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari had tendered his resignation to face an inquiry against his alleged involvement in the Rawalpindi Ring Road scam. 

The sources said that the MQM and BAP will also be given ministries and the matter of Faisal Vawda's return remained undecided. 

A few days ago, the premier appointed Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) chief Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti his special aide on reconciliation. 

The JWP chief is grandson of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, who was killed in an operation in the Gen Musharraf regime, was elected from NA-259 Dera Bugti in 2018.
