The clouds of Lahore which were failed to burst open on the first two days of Eid, brought rain today making its weather pleasant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The temperature of the city was high in the morning but later the rain poured down bringing joy on the faces of people who were wary of heat and humidity in the air. 

The rain lashed different areas of Lahore including Barkat Market, Dehla Flats, Model Town, Kot Lakhpat, Link Road, Faisal Town, Johar Town and Ferozpur Road.

Wet showers will also lash country on 3rd day of Eid  

Skies over the country are still overcast and clouds are ready to burst open in many areas on the third day of Eid.

According to the Metrological Department, heavy rain is likely to barrel Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, East Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today.

The Lower Sindh will also be lashed with thunderstorm and rain coupled with strong winds. 

During last 24 hours, Attock received 65mm, Islamabad 45mm; Rawalpindi 35mm and Bannu received 28mm rain.

Karachi, which has already received a record rainfall, is also likely to be hit by downpour today.
