Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed newly-elected senator Saifullah Khan Niazi and Amir Mehmood to complete organising the PTI at the grassroots.

The directives were issued as the premier presided over a meeting with governors of Sindh, Punjab and KP Imran Ismael, Ch Sarwar and Shah Farman respectively and KP Chief Minister Mehmood Khan.

The meeting took up the election of the Senate chairman and deputy chairman, the current political scenario and measures to cope with challenges being faced by the government. Amir Kiyani and Saifullah Niazi briefed the participants about preparation for the election.

In his address, Imran took swipe at the opposition parties for joining hands to escape accountability. He said he never backed off and he would stand firm.
