All Punjab schools ordered to install Pink Button security alert system

Keeping in view the security situation, the Punjab government has introduced emergency alert system in all the schools throughout the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The School Education Department issued guidelines in this regard on Thursday, ordering installation of “pink button” in all government and private schools across Punjab.

It was also made mandatory for all the teachers and the students to get themselves registered on the pink button.

The School Education Department has also directed beefed-up security in all the schools and ordering all the CEOs to ensure activation of the pink button in their schools as soon as possible.

The department also warned of stern action if its orders regarding pink button were not implemented.
