Punjab CM Maryam conducts aerial inspection of flood-hit areas

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conducted an aerial inspection during her visit to flood-affected areas in Taranda Muhammad Panah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also conducted an aerial inspection of Gul Muhammad Gangah and Bat Zahir Peer. 

The Chief Minister will meet the victims at the flood relief camp in Gul Muhammad Langah. 

Maryam Nawaz will visit the tents and take a briefing from the administration.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in a message on the social networking website X, said, "The dynamic role of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in relief operations during the floods is commendable. 

Similarly, the tireless work of the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir is also worthy of tribute. 

In addition, the Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the recent flood situation in different parts of the country and directed the federal institutions to remain alert. 

PM said natural disasters have created numerous challenges, but the Pakistani nation, especially farmers, labourers, women and children, have shown extraordinary courage and resilience.
