All tax-related cases transferred to LHC Division Bench

After the approval of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Aalia Neelum, two members LHC bench will hear the tax-related petitions in the court, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

The from now on, all tax-related cases will be scheduled for hearing before the Division Bench instead of the Single Bench. All pending tax petitions will also be transferred to the Division Bench. 

The notification was issued after the approval of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Alia Neelam. The Chief Justice High Court gave the approval in light of the decision of the National Judicial Policy Making Committee meeting. 

The lawyers’ community and traders have hailed the decision by saying that this decision will promote transparency and traders’ confidence on courts.
