Dr Ijaz claps back at Rakhi Sawant after her fierce defence of Hania Aamir
Pakistani doctor and social media personality Dr Ijaz Waris has clapped back at Bollywood star Rakhi Sawant after she came out in strong support of Hania Aamir amid criticism of her latest track Pablo.
Taking to Instagram, Dr Ijaz shared a video with the caption, “No Rakhi Sawant, No :)” along with references to Hania Aamir, Pablo. He also wrote, “Today’s buzz with jazzy!” in the post.
In the video, Dr Ijaz responded to Rakhi’s earlier defence of Hania. Rakhi had supported the actress after criticism of Pablo and urged people who were jealous to let Hania enjoy her success.
Addressing Rakhi, Dr Ijaz said that he respected her but disagreed with the way she responded to critics. He argued that if someone does not like a song, defending the artist will not change that person’s opinion about the music.
Dr Ijaz also stressed that criticism is part of the entertainment industry. According to him, everyone has the right to give an opinion about a song, and an artist’s supporters cannot simply stop people from criticising their work.
He further said that Rakhi has every right to support Hania, but her support does not automatically change the way people view the song. His argument was that personal affection for an artist and an opinion about their work are two different things.
Dr Ijaz then stood by his own criticism of Pablo. He continued to question the track’s writing, composition and production, making it clear that Rakhi’s defence had not changed his opinion about the song.
The latest exchange comes after Hania Aamir released Pablo to mark 10 years of her journey in the entertainment industry. The song also includes a special appearance from Rakhi Sawant through a voice message in the outro.
Rakhi had earlier reacted strongly to the criticism and openly defended Hania. She affectionately called the actress her “honey” and “sweetheart” and asked people not to say negative things about her.
Dr Ijaz’s latest response has now added another twist to the Pablo controversy.
