Eid in Australia on April 22
Grand Mufti of Australia and the Chairman of the Australian Fatwa Council announced Eidul Fitr in the country on April 22.
With Eid approaching, astronomers are predicting moon sighting.

In Pakistan, the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council made a prediction regarding the sighting of the Shawwal moon in the country on April 7.
Khalid Ijaz Mufti, Secretary General of Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, said that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 20, to see the moon of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram.
However, it is unlikely that the Eid moon will be visible this evening, so Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
According to the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, the birth of the moon will take place on Thursday, April 20 at 9:13 am Pakistan time.
On that day i.e. the evening of the 29th of Ramazan, the age of the moon at sunset, which should be more than 19 hours for sighting, will be less than 10 hours in all areas of Pakistan.
