The game of musical chairs continues in Punjab as far as the appointment of spokespersons for the provincial government is concerned as Punjab Minister for Prisons and Colonies Fayazul Hasan Chohan was once again appointed as spokesman for the provincial government on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar gave his approval to the appointment.

Chohan’s appointment came in the wake of resignation by special assistant to Punjab CM Firdous Ashiq Awan a few days ago which had left a void in the provincial government.

Later speaking to the media, Chohan said he was grateful to the party’s high command for giving him an additional assignment of spokesman for the Punjab government.

He expressed the hope that he would meet the expectations of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab CM Usman Buzdar.

“As a spokesman for the provincial government, highlighting the achievements of Buzdar administration is my basic duty,” he said, and added, “I will expose the conspiracies being hatched by the opposition against the Punjab government.”
