A policeman martyred and others seriously injured during a clash between Khosa and Kamangar communities in Mehar in Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to report, on the information about the clash between the two tribes, the police reached the spot and the accused opened fire on the cops as a result of which one policeman was martyred while others seriously injured.

The martyred policeman was identified as 52-year-old Zulfiqar Turk.

The injured police officer Saddam Kalhoro was shifted to Mehar Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

However, as a result of the retaliatory action of the police, one accused was killed while three accused were claimed to have been arrested whereas exchange of fire continues between the police party and the accused and a heavy contingent of police was called.

Moreover, the search operation of the police is going on to arrest the accused.
