The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested former general manager of Pakistan Agriculture Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) in connection with a wheat procurement corruption scandal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the FIA, former GM Zahoor Ahmad Ranjha changed the wheat procurement policy and framed a new one to buy wheat from middlemen instead of farmers.

According to the sources in the FIA, former Managing Director (MD) PASSCO will also be investigated in the same case.
