No trace of missing Lahore SSP

Lahore police failed on Thursday to find any clue to the senior superintendent of police who went missing from the Johar Town area of the city on Wednesday.
Even after passing of a day the police high-ups could not find any major leads to the missing SSP Mufakhar Adeel.
The official jeep under the use of SSP Mufakhar Adeel has been found from outside a shopping Mall in Johar Town. His cell phone had also been tracked in the same area which was switched off after he was disappeared.
SSP had left his residence in Johar Town but did not return home. Adeel's family members approached the police for his recovery.
The Lahore DIG Operations said that the police would make sure safe recovery of the SSP.
According to police, Advocate Shahbaz Tatla, a friend of SSP Mufakhar Adeel, went missing from Lahore on February 7. His brother lodged a case with Naseerabad police on February 10. Tatla’s brother and SSP Mufakhar Adeel appeared before the investigation officials and briefed them about the case.
Later, it was learnt on Wednesday that SSP Mufakhar Adeel also went missing, which triggered panic in the police force. Police also obtained CCTV footage for further investigation. Police officials said that police was using modern technology to trace Adeel and Tatla. They both belonged to Narowal district.
Talking to 24News, PML-N MPA from Narowal Rana Mannan Khan said that he had dropped Tatla at Kalma Chowk after meeting former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad. After that, he said, he did not know about his whereabouts.
