Imran Khan writes third letter to COAS General Asim

PTI founder Imran Khan has written third letter to Army Chief General Asim Munir, seeking his attention to major issues being faced by the country, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.

The former prime minister Imran Khan’s counsel Faisal Chaudhary shared the details of Imran Khan’s third letter to media while speaking to media outside Adiala jail after meeting Imran Khan.

Faisal Chaudhary claimed Imran Khan was of the view that he was not asking for any concession from anyone.

PTI founder told Army Chief that Pakistan needs deep structural reforms comprising strengthening of institutions, rule of law, economic development, increase in income, reduction of expenses, creation of employment opportunities with growing population, social security, law and order and bringing new investments in the country.

Imran Khan was of the view that the secret of the country's development was hidden in the strength of institutions.

Imran Khan said, “as a former Prime Minister and a Pakistani patriot, I only want to restore the reputation of my army and the interest of the dear country”. The former PM claimed, “there was no harmony between the people and the Army due to the policies of the establishment”. Imran Khan said, “I request ISPR not to give false narrative”.

Imran Khan claimed repeatedly saying that the Army does not interfere in politics was tantamount to insulting the common sense of the nation.

Faisal Chaudhary said Imran Khan was of the view that “during social media era, nothing can be hidden, every child of the country knows that the army chief is the one who runs the system of this country”.

PTI founder further said that whether it was the rigging of elections or the buying and selling of members of parliament, the destruction of the judiciary or the black laws of banning public voting, the people were aware of secret hands. Imran Khan said the nation and the international community knows which "unknown" hands were behind it. In his letter Imran Khan shed highlight on five points due to which he believed Pakistan was on the brink of collapse.  He said during general elections establishment imposed faces which were rejected by the nation. He added that due to rigged elections conducted on the orders of the establishment, the country was suffering a serious loss.

Imran Khan added that during PTI government NAB was not even under PTI control and General Bajwa used to control it. PTI founder said all the cases against PML-N and PPP were made before PTI era. He said during PTI government only Ramzan sugar mill case was made against Shahbaz Sharif. Imran Khan said democracy works on ethics and it can work only if the government has moral strength.

He said during the last thirty years, there was a gradual restoration of democracy in Pakistan. Imran said first PTI government was removed under a conspiracy and later fake government was imposed and later the constitution was broken to impose them again on the country. Imran Khan said the whole world travels forward but Pakistan was moving in the opposite direction.
