Australia cricket team to be given status of state guest

Security arrangements for the cricket series between Pakistan and Australia has been finalized, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In this regard, the federal government has granted the Australian team the status of state guest.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Security Abdul Wahab said the teams will be provided with foolproof security along with facilities for the public.
He said more than 10,000 security officers and personnel will be deployed during the security of the teams.
Snipers will be deployed on the rooftops for security, SSP said.
