Passenger train derails near Kandhkot

Khushal Khan Khattack Express escaped a major disaster as two bogies of the train derailed near Kandhkot on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident occurred near Grid Station Kandhkot as the train was going to Karachi from Peshawar.
No loss of life was reported after the incident and all the passengers remained safe.
Railway personnel said that after completion of repairing work the train will be departed to its destination.
Earlier, on June 1, 2025, two bogies of the Pakistan Express derailed near Mubarakpur in Sindh.
The train was en route from Karachi to Multan when the incident occurred in the area of the district of Jacobabad.
Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries was reported in the mishap.
