US currency touches Rs280.05 in interbank

The US dollar gained further value in the currency market as US dollar rose by 8 paise in interbank. According to State Bank of Pakistan, US currency rose from Rs 279.97 to close at Rs 280.05 in interbank. 

According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), US dollar rose by 3 paise to Rs 281.62 in the open market. The euro fell by 15 paise to Rs 306.90 in the open market. The British pound appreciated by Rs 1.04 to Rs 365.27 in the open market. The UAE dirham rose by 1 paise to Rs 76.71 in the open market. The Saudi riyal remained at Rs 75 in the open market.
