AJK PM visits Samahni Sector of Line of Control

Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq on Tuesday visited the Samahni Sector of the Line of Control (LoC) and distributed cheques to the people who were wounded in the Indian firing.

During his visit to the LoC, Haq was accompanied by Interior Minister Colonel Retired Waqar Ahmed Noor. On this occasion, tehsil and district administration briefed the prime minister about the relief operations. The prime minister said the government stands by people in this hour of trial.

He praised those wounded in the Indian attacks and those who were martyred. He said the government would fully support the people who lost their properties or livestock in the Indian attacks. He said the government was issuing cheques to the families of the martyrs on an emergency basis.

Speaking on the occasion, the AJK prime minister said that the Kashmiris living along the LoC are brave and fearless. He said that Kashmiris are ready to give even the last drop of their blood for protection of Pakistan.
