Sindh governor takes notice of incident, orders immediate arrest of killer

A security guard deployed at a pizza shop shot dead a beggar child in Clifton Basin area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, an eight-year-old child, Muhammad Umar, was begging near Dua Hotel in Clifton Basin area last night. A security guard deployed at a nearby pizza shop asked the child to stop begging there. After that, the guard shot fire at the child killing him on the spot.
The accused threw his body behind the Ziauddin Hospital in the limits of Jackson police station and ran away.
The family of the slain child went to police station along with the body to register their complaint.
According to the mother of the child, her son used to sell toys on the street and security guard opened fire on him when he went to a car to sell his toys to the riders.
The mother went on to say that they were a flood-hit family and moved to Karachi after the deluge.
The father said that he drove auto rickshaw to earn his livelihood. He demanded of the law enforcers to arrest the murderer of his innocent child.
Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori took notice of the killing of the child. He sought report from the Karachi additional IG police and ordered the police to immediately arrest the killer.
