Punjab announces scholarships for talented and deserving students

Punjab government announced scholarships for talented and deserving students, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the channel report, candidates who have passed matric and intermediate exams in 2023 with 60% marks will be eligible to apply.
The online application can be submitted to the Punjab Education Endowment Fund [PEEF] by January 31, 2024.
As per the report, orphans and special students will be able to apply for scholarship while the children of government employees from grades 1 to 4 with a salary of less than 60,000 per month will also be eligible.
Students belonging to minority religions will be able to apply as the report said under the Department of Human Rights and Minority Affairs, scholarships will be given to talented minority students.
As well as children of civilians martyred in terrorism will also be eligible for the scholarships.
