Marriyum chides Imran over protest permit

October 13, 2020 04:26 AM

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement that the government will let the opposition parties take to the streets is laughable, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday.

Imran Khan can’t obstruct the public meetings, she said adding that the demo will expose the rulers who betrayed the people and let ‘robbers’ go on the rampage.

The gatherings are against stealing mandate and desecrating the sanctity of vote, she said. Such statements by Imran Khan show his desperate effort to save himself from embarrassments, she said.

The true leaders don't need Imran's advice to arrive at homeland, the former info minister said adding that. Earlier in the day, the government decided to not create hindrances in the opposition's rallies.
