3 dacoits killed in RY Khan, Larkana, Lahore encounters
Three notorious dacoits were gunned down during separate police encounters in Rahim Yar Khan, Larkana, and Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV on Monday.
The first encounter took place in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station, Rahim Yar Khan.
A spokesman of the police said that the dead dacoit was involved in more than 70 criminal cases. He was later identified as Allah Boota Siyal.
The spokesman further revealed that a police party intercepted the accused, who was riding on a motorcycle, to stop, but he started firing on the police party.
During exchange of fire, the accused died.
Police said they also seized a motorcycle which he snatched in the jurisdiction of Iqbalabad Police Station last night.
District Police Officer (DPO) Irfan Ali Soomo lauded the outstanding performance of the police team.
The second police encounter occurred in the jurisdiction of Baqapur, Larkana in which a dacoit Gohar Ali Chandio was gunned down. The dead dacoit was a resident of the University Colony of Jamshoro.
The dead dacoit was involved in the gruesome murder of Ghulam Nabi Leghari in the jurisdiction of Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto Police Station.
The third police encounter took place in the Cantt area of Lahore, in which a dacoit was killed. According to the details, a Crime Control Department (CCD) team signaled a dacoit who was riding on a motorcycle to stop, but he started firing on the CCD team.
During the exchange of fire, the dacoit received gunshots and died.
Later, Batapur police shifted his body to a hospital’s mortuary.
