The sale of the war gadgets and other tools of the US Army and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces that were left behind them in Afghanistan reached Lahore for sale, 24News HD TV channel reported on Monday.
The US military and its allied forces left several valuable things behind in Afghanistan during vacating the war zone in a hurry last month.
The international forces were using many sophisticated weapons, war equipment, mechanical apparatuses, labour tools and high tech devices as well as some tourism-related items during their stay in Afghanistan.
Some of the traders got the opportunity to start selling the used items in the open market of Lahore and opened shops in the city.
A merchant in Johar Town has decorated his shop with such used items of the US and NATO forces traded from Afghanistan in which guns, metal detectors, electric tools, flashlights, gloves, umbrellas, military boots, hunting gadgets, handcuffs, night vision glasses, combat bags, binoculars and camping equipment are included.
The shopkeeper Sikandar Khan said that he was in such business for the last four decades and citizens in a large number visited his shop to get good items for their use at reasonable prices.
