Charli XCX and George Daniel to ‘marry again’

Charli XCX and her husband George Daniel are reportedly planning a second wedding celebration in Italy, and it promises to be nothing short of wild.

The 33-year-old singer officially tied the knot with The 1975 drummer, 35, in August during an intimate ceremony in London. Now, insiders claim the couple want to mark the milestone once again with a lavish, no-holds-barred party in Europe.

A source told The Sun: “Charli and George have spared no expense for their second wedding, and it’s going to be wild. They’re getting wed in an intimate resort and will have a massive party afterwards.”

According to reports, the newlyweds have created personalised cocktails for the event and have insisted there will be no curfew, branding the celebration the “rave cave.” Guests are expected to dance until the “last person standing collapses into bed.”

George’s The 1975 bandmates are said to be on the guest list, although frontman Matty Healy may miss the festivities as he is currently in Los Angeles.

However, not everyone is convinced. A source close to the singer has denied the claims, while representatives for Charli have yet to comment.

Charli XCX and George Daniel tied the knot earlier this summer in front of just 20 close friends and family members, including The 1975’s Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald.

On the big day, Charli stunned in a Vivienne Westwood mini dress paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a traditional veil. She shared a TikTok of herself strutting down the aisle with the tongue-in-cheek caption: “When George isn’t crying when he sees me walking down the aisle” — later reassuring fans that he did, in fact, shed a tear.

Following the ceremony, Charli slipped into a second white dress from Nova Cora, worth £3,300, for a lively afterparty. George got into the spirit by wearing his new wife’s veil while puffing on a cigarette and dancing shirtless with guests.

The couple later dined at Italian restaurant Dalla in Hackney, where they enjoyed a family-style meal with pasta and champagne before heading to an afterparty at Ellie’s Bar in Dalston.

Onlookers were stunned to see the pop star casually walking down Hackney High Street in her wedding gown, stopping for a pre-dinner cigarette.
