Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)  Voice President Maryam Nawaz rapped ex-premier Imran Khan for ‘telling lies and concocting plots' to prolong his premiership. 

“Today your lies have been exposed. You played a dangerous game to cling to power. Serious forums like the NSC were used for conspiracy theories. That they gave the option,” she tweeted.

وقت آ گیا ہے تمہارے ایک ایک جھوٹ کا محاسبہ کیا جائے۔ کرسی کی خاطر قومی سلامتی سے کھیلنے کی قابل مذمت کوششوں کا محاسبہ کیا جائے۔ حوصلہ رکھو۔۔ اب سامنا کرنا، ہمیشہ کی طرح بھاگ نہ جانا کیونکہ یہ قوم تمہیں اب بھاگنے نہیں دے گی!#عمران_جھوٹا

She continued: It's time to dump her and move on. Condemnable attempts to play national security for the sake of the chair should be accounted for. be strong. Be ready to face. The nation will not let you run away now.”

Last week, the PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said Prime Minister Imran Khan ‘carried out a suicide attack on the constitution. “The National Security Council (NSC) was used for a political purpose … Imran Khan used it to protect his premiership. The NSC is not ‘Imran Bachao Committee,” she added. 

She asked the government to show the letter and produce the ambassador before the Supreme Court. The daughter of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif said the letter was written while sitting in the Foreign Ministry.

"Imran Khan attacked the constitution in a bid to protect his premiership. Security agencies should inform the nation about the truth," she stressed.
