Federal govt notifies key transfers and postings
A significant reshuffle has been carried out in the federal bureaucracy, with multiple senior and mid-level officers transferred and assigned new roles across various ministries and departments. The changes were notified by the Establishment Division.
According to the official notification, Saad Sikandar Khan, a Grade 21 officer serving as Additional Secretary in the Climate Change Division, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Revenue Division. Adeel Raza has been directed to continue his services as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, Ali Sufyan, Deputy Secretary in the Commerce Division, has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Establishment Division, with his services placed at the disposal of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority on an attachment basis.
Among other key appointments, Sajid Khan has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Power Division, while Mureed Hussain Jasra has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Defense Division, and Abdul Rahim Khan in the Petroleum Division.
In addition, Grade 18 officer Atif Amir has been transferred from the Federal Police to the Punjab Government. Section Officer Farhan Ahmed Chaudhry has been moved from the Economic Affairs Division to the Establishment Division.
Further changes include the transfer of Section Officer Navira Farooq’s services from the Establishment Division to the Establishment Department. Section Officer Muhammad Riaz has been transferred from the Overseas Pakistanis Division to the Workers Welfare Fund, while Section Officer Bilal Ilyas has been moved from the Bureau of Immigration to the Overseas Pakistanis Division.
Additionally, Section Officer Amjad Ali Khan from the IT Division has been transferred to the Universal Service Fund Company.
The reshuffle is part of routine administrative adjustments aimed at improving efficiency and governance within federal institutions.
