Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy concludes

Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy concluded Wednesday at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.
The Conference was chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi. Matters related to the geostrategic milieu, national security, operational preparedness, training and welfare of troops were reviewed.
Briefings on various ongoing and future development projects of the Pakistan Navy were also given to the Chief of the Naval Staff. The forum reviewed evolving maritime security situation after US withdrawal from Afghanistan and reaffirmed solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ& K) for the rightful struggle of self-determination.
The Naval Chief expressed confidence over the high state of operational preparedness of the Pakistan Navy to meet all challenges. The forum also discussed nCOVID-19 situation expressed concern over new spike and reiterated strict compliance to SOPs in line with Govt policies.
Command & Staff Conference is the apex decision making body of the Pakistan Navy in which the Chief of the Naval Staff along with Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders undertake a strategic review of the Pakistan Navy’s Policies and Plans as well as the prevailing security environment.
