A divisional bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial issued a notice to Sofia Mirza's ex-husband Omar Farooq Zahoor, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The federal government also requested that Omar Farooq's name be included in the Exit Control List (ECL).

“The Lahore High Court (LHC) did not take into account the facts,” the Additional Attorney General argued during the case hearing.

Additional AG said that Omar Farooq Zahoor did not even request to withdraw the red notice.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) even ordered to withdraw the red notice issued by Interpol and LHC could not hear his plea.

“Omar Farooq is a fugitive accused,” maintained the Additional AG.

Model and actress Sofia Mirza said that her daughters were abducted in 2009 and have not been brought back yet. “My ex-husband kidnapped my two daughters and took them to Dubai under the pretext of meeting,” she claimed.

The case hearing has been adjourned indefinitely.
