The police have failed to trace the whereabouts of another teen age girl who went missing from Karachi two days ago during the Sadr blast, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
A case was registered on the complaint of the father of the missing girl.
The father told the police that his 15-year-old daughter Sawera was walking to school along with him two days ago when an explosion ripped through the Sadr area. He said that he fell unconscious after the blast and when revived he found his daughter nowhere. She had been vanished, he added.
The desperate father said he had no clue where his daughter had gone and who had taken her.
A few days ago, three other young girls from Karachi went missing and the social media was abuzz with the news of their disappearance. However, police and FIA sleuths after a hectic search using high-tech methods found the whereabouts of all three girls namely Dua Zehra, Nimra Kazmi and Dinar who were living in different areas of Punjab and claimed to have contracted free will marriages.
However, Dua Zehra’s parents went to Sindh High Court pleading that their daughter’s marriage was unlawful as she was 15-year-old insisting that she had in fact been kidnapped. The case is still in the court.
During its hearing of the case on May 10, the SHC summoned the respondents in Dua Zehra’s marriage case to appear before the court on May 19, 2022.
