Federal Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif Monday said that Imran Khan never stood firm and always retracted from whatever he said, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Khawaja Asif bashed former PM Imran Khan when the journalist asked about Khan’s change of statement regarding the American conspiracy.

He said: “Is it the first time Imran Khan is retracting his statement? He retracts from everything he says. He is said a lot of things in the last four years, which one did he stand firm on?”

He further said that Imran Khan himself does not know what state he is in and whatever he says. He forgets his own statements. Yesterday he said that an FIR for his “Murder” is not being filed. He has no idea of what he says.

Khawaja said if some people are still ready to believe what he says then it is their personal matter.

Journalist asked about the involvement of Nawaz Sharif in the decision of appointment of Army Chief to which Power Minister stated that all the advice on the appointment of the Army chief is at the Prime Minister’s Discretion and the Prime Minister will decide on the appointment.

The journalist further asked if there is any consultation going on with Nawaz Sharif to which Khawaja replied that no consultation regarding Army Chief’s appointment with anyone has been done yet, these are all rumors and speculations.
