Sindh Theatre festival 2022 starts tomorrow in Hyderabad

Under the auspicious of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, “Sindh Theatre festival 2022’ will be started in Hyderabad on November 15 (tomorrow) and will continue till November 24, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the festival, 10 dramas will be played including 5 in Sindhi language and 5 in Urdu at Mehran Arts Council Hyderabad, daily at 7:30 pm.
The first drama ‘Mera Manhoon-Ujro Man’ will be played on November 15, written by Zafar Roonjho and directed by Rafique Essani. Renowned stage artists Farooque Talur, Ramsha Shahzadi, Aaisha Mehek, Hassan Khaskheli, Aslam Siyal and Shankar lal are among the cast of the drama.
Provincial Minister for Tourism and Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah inaugurated the Sindh Theatre Festival- 2022 in advance at Mehran Arts Council on Monday. He said that cultural programs will be organized in other cities of Sindh under Sindh Theatre Festival.
President Arts Council of Karachi Syed Ahmed Ali Shah, artists of Hyderabad city were also present in the inaugural ceremony.
Earlier, the culture minister also visited Sindhi Language Authority where its chairman Dr Ishaq Samejo and Secretary Prof. Shabnam Gul along with members of the board of governors accorded the minister a warm welcome.
