Gold price at record high in Pakistan

The price of per-tola 24-karat gold reached an all-time high on Tuesday, rising by Rs6,900 to Rs435,100 compared to Rs428,200 on Tuesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs5,916 to Rs373,028 from Rs367,112, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs341,954 from Rs336,531 with an increase of Rs5,423.
In the international market, gold prices also strengthened by $69 to reach at $4,140 compared to the previous day’s $4,071.
Likewise, the price of per tola silver and 10 grams of silver remained unchanged and closed at Rs 5,247 and Rs 4,498, respectively. International silver prices also remained stagnant at $51.60.
