PM Imran, PTI high command discuss CB elections’ results

Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting on Tuesday to review the results of Cantonment Board (CB) elections held two days ago on Sunday (September 12), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Saifullah Niazi, Amir Kiani, Ijaz Chaudhry, Shafqat Mehmood, Ali Haider Zaidi, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governors were in attendance.
All leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) briefed the prime minister about the causes of party’s success or failure in their respective constituencies.
PTI Central Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry submitted to PM Imran a report on the party’s electoral defeat in Lahore Cantonment.
The participants also discussed the future course of action to be taken in order to enlist the support of more and more people and spread the PTI’s message far and wide.
The meeting decided to assign the task of making PTI a strong contender in the next elections to the party’s senior leadership.
It was agreed that the party’s senior leaders would be given tasks in various districts in order to overcome organisational weaknesses.
The meeting also took cognizance of the bad governance under the PTI government and discussed the strategy to improve it.
