66% Pakistanis concerned over rising debt, says PILDAT survey

Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has conducted a National Citizen Survey in which 66 percent of Pakistanis expressed serious concern over the country's rising debt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The survey showed that 19 percent of Pakistanis think that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme brought economic stability in Pakistan, while 38 percent oppose the idea.

79 percent Pakistan expressed fear over the increase in the use of narcotics in the country and said that electricity and inflation are the number one challenges being faced by Pakistanis.

43 percent Pakistanis expressed their distrust over the foreign reports about foreign debt. 56 percent Pakistan said that social media is the main cause of the decline in social ethics, and 28 percent of Pakistanis suggested that there should be no ban on using social media.
