Late prominent scholar Dr Israr Ahmed has millions of followers across the globe, who through his videos on YouTube have inculcated many key things required to live life, according to the way Islam guides, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

But, YouTube had blocked the channel of the notable scholar, alleging that his videos comprise the elements of hate speech, but this is for the second time in a single month that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has asked YouTube to unblock the channel of the noted religious scholar, by writing another letter.

As per PTA, the channel of Dr Israr is merely comprised of the lecture on Islamic education, adding that no content that rises to any hate is available on Israr’s YouTube channel.

The PTA’s authority said that the unilateral closure of a well-known religious scholar's channel is not acceptable, urging the YouTube administration to review its decision over the closure of the channel.

It is pertinent to note that the YouTube channel of Dr Israr channel, which has grossed over 3 million subscribers on YouTube and was blocked by the YouTube administration on April 1.
