Govt to write letter to Nawaz docs seeking reports

The government has decided to write a letter to the doctors of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in order to obtain medical reports of the former prime minister from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources divulged on Tuesday that the federal government decided to write down a letter to the personal physicians of Nawaz Sharif i.e. Dr Lawrence and Dr Fayyaz Shawal asking them to provide Nawaz’s medical reports.

A few days ago, Attorney General of Pakistan Khalid Jawed Khan had written a letter to PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif asking him to submit his elder brother’s medical reports. 

But Shehbaz in his rejoinder, objected to the epistle saying it was an illegal act on the part of the AG as they had already submitted all reports to the court on time and matter was also sub judice. He further said that AG’s letter was an attempt to influence a sub judice matter.
