Man held for using fake currency notes in Jhelum

Patrolling police on Saturday arrested a man for using the fake currency in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, a man, Riaz, who was involved in the livestock trade was nabbed by the police for using counterfeit currency. He used to purchase animals from traders and give them fake currency notes. 

The police recovered counterfeit banknotes worth Rs81,000 from the possession of the accused. 

Police have registered a case against him and started an investigation.
