Schedule for cricket event at Olympic Games announced

The schedule for the cricket event at the Olympic Games has been announced, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the schedule, the cricket event will be played from July 12 to July 29, 2028.

The medal matches of the Olympic Games will be held on July 19 and July 29.

The Los Angeles Olympics will officially be held from July 14 to 30, 2028.

Cricket and some other events at the Olympic Games will start a few days earlier.

The first phase will be played from July 12 to 18, after which the medal matches will be held on July 19.

The second phase will be from July 22 to 28, and the final will be played on July 29.

The Olympic Games will end on July 30.

The LA28 administration has not yet announced the order of the competitions.

The ICC will hold its annual conference in Singapore from July 17 to 20.

The annual conference will decide on the qualification mechanism for the Olympics.

It is proposed that the teams be selected based on the ICC rankings.

A proposal to select the teams through a qualifying tournament is also under consideration.

The qualifying round could also provide an opportunity for associate countries to join.
