Namra Shahid says no one matches Saba Qamar's stardom in Pakistan
Pakistani actress Namra Shahid has showered praise on fellow actress Saba Qamar while also sharing her thoughts on the growing attitude problem among some newcomers in the entertainment industry.
During an interview with Something Haute, Namra spoke about her admiration for Saba Qamar and described her as a rare superstar whose success has never affected her personality.
According to Namra, despite spending more than a decade in the industry, she has yet to encounter anyone quite like Saba.
She stated that one of the most remarkable things about the actress is her professionalism and humility.
"Saba Qamar has absolutely no tantrums," Namra stated, repeating the point several times to highlight how unusual it is to find someone with such a high level of success.
The actress went on to say that no amount of praise feels sufficient when it comes to describing Saba's talent and character.
She noted that Saba's combination of acting skills, star power and humility has earned her a special place in the industry.
Namra also reflected on the behavior of some newer actresses entering the industry.
Without naming anyone, she criticized what she described as premature egos and entitled attitudes among certain rising stars.
She remarked that some actresses start behaving like big star after landing only a handful of lead roles.
According to Namra, securing a few prominent projects should not be enough for anyone to develop an inflated sense of importance.
The actress questioned what some newcomers had truly accomplished to justify such behavior.
She suggested that experience and consistency should matter more than a few successful dramas.
Namra made it clear that she is not obsessed with playing lead roles.
She revealed that if she were offered a supporting role in a project starring Saba Qamar, she would gladly accept it without hesitation.
For Namra, the opportunity to work alongside someone she deeply respects would outweigh concerns about screen time or character hierarchy.
