PML-Q decides to continue supporting PM Imran led govt

The coalition party of the Prime Minister in the centre, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid has decided to continue its support to the sitting government of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PML-Q leader and Federal Minister Moonis Elahi confirmed on Monday that his party would stand with the government in the joint session of the parliament being held on Wednesday.

He told the media that Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had approved the decision to support the government to pass the bills related to the electoral reforms and other legislation.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan made a telephonic call to Moonis Elahi and inquired about the health of Chaudhry Shujaat and expressed his good wishes for him.

On the other hand, the PML-Q Sindh chapter President of Women’s Wing Huma Talpur called on Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence and briefed him about the party’s performance in Sindh. Anjum Afshaan and Danial Azam were also present on this occasion.

Talking to her, Elahi said that the process of party organization in Sindh would be completed soon. He said that they had been raising voices at every level to give rights to the people.

Huma Talpur said that people appreciate the leadership abilities of Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi and the graph of Pakistan Muslim League was going up in the Sindh province.
